FRIENDS OF LANGPORT SURGERY

LUCKY NUMBERS CLUB

The Friends of Langport Surgery (FoLS) are a group of patients that support the surgery by; providing a voice for patient feedback, raise awareness on issues that affect the surgery and its patients, promote patient health education and fundraise for materials/events that benefit the patients of Langport Surgery.

Examples of these are the men’s health drop in evening, patient resuscitation educational session, the new automated surgery doors and monthly magazine subscription for the waiting room. FoLS current project is to buy a new piece of respiratory equipment.

The FoLS propose a monthly Lucky Numbers Club to provide a regular income to continue this important work as well as the chance to win cash prizes every month. This would be an annual subscription of £12.00 representing 12 monthly payments of £1.00 for one entry in the monthly draw. There will be no maximum so you can either have one entry or as many as you like.

Would you be interested in taking part in the proposed monthly Lucky Number Club? Click here to leave your details. If there is enough interest you will be contacted by a member of the FoLS.

Langport Surgery  Car Park Opening

Langport Surgery celebrated the opening of the new car park extension by planting a magnolia tree in memory of Margaret Astridge. Margaret was an active member of the Friends of Langport Surgery group who sadly passed away in 2012. Margaret left a donation to the surgery which was used to carry out the works on the surgery car park for the benefit of all patients.
