Trainee Dispenser

We have a position available to join our Dispensary Team as a Trainee Dispenser.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic team player, with exceptional people skills. This is a role for someone who can multi-task and is confident in dealing with members of the public.
There is the opportunity to undertake an apprenticeship in customer service as part of this role. Alternatively on the job training will be provided.

Full-time – 37 hours per week

Working Hours:
Monday: 9:00 – 17:30 (7.5)
Tuesday: 9:00 – 18:30 (8.5)
Wednesday: 9:00 – 13:00 (4)
Thursday: 8:30 – 18:00 (8.5)
Friday: 8:30 – 18:00 (8.5)

Receptionist/Administrator 

Part Time – 17.5 Hours per week (APPLICATIONS OPEN)

We have an exciting opportunity for a friendly and motivated Receptionist/Administrator to join our Patient Services Team at Langport Surgery.

The ideal candidate will be confident with technology and have first class IT skills. It isn’t essential to have worked in healthcare; however this experience would be beneficial. We are looking for someone who can provide excellent customer service to our patients and who is flexible, prepared for a challenge and able to confidently handle challenging situations.

High levels of accuracy and attention to detail are essential as is the need for strict confidentiality and high levels of integrity. You absolutely must be a people person and able to communicate effectively with staff and patients. In addition, the role as Receptionist/Administrator can be extremely fast paced, so an ability to work efficiently under pressure is essential.

Receptionist and Schedule Coordinator Apprentice – 37 Hours per week (full-time)

The apprentice will assist patients in accessing appropriate services or health professionals, delivering excellent customer service. They will provide friendly assistance to the practice team, patients and visitors in person, online and via telephone, and will maintain and implement clinical rotas and appointment configuration within EMIS Web.
